Gordon Ramsay’s Bank Balance – Will There Be Series Two?
Gordon Ramsay made his debut as a game show host earlier this year, but the series won’t be returning for a second round.
A BBC spokesperson told Metro.co.uk: “There are currently no plans for another round of bank balances.”
Bank Balance has seen competitors compete in pairs to win cash prizes.
They answered questions in order to stack gold bars of different sizes on a precarious balance board.
The more bars the more money there is, with a total of £ 100,000 up for grabs.
Some viewers criticized the overly complicated rules.
Bank Balance lasted nine episodes in February.
Despite odds starting at 2.7 million, they eventually dropped to 1.5 million by the third episode.
While the show is not returning to the BBC, Studio Ramsay is considering taking it to the United States as part of a deal with Fox.
Studio Ramsay also produces Gordon, Gino and Fred Go Greek!
Gordon Ramsay Net Worth – Will He Leave The Fortune To His Children?
Gordon Ramsay, 54, may be one of the richest chefs in the world, with a massive net fortune, but he refuses to spoil his children.
Even though the controversial star made buckets of money, he previously said he was determined to teach his offspring the value of money.
He told the Telegraph: âI was never really excited about the money.
âIt’s not my number one goal, and it’s reflected in the way the kids are being raised.
“They don’t sit with us in first class [on a plane]. They didn’t work hard enough to afford it. At this age, at this height, are you telling me they have to sit in first class? No they don’t. We’re really strict about it.
Gordon has even gone so far as to admit that he does not intend to bequeath much of his fortune to his five children in his will.
He said, âIt sure doesn’t suit them, and it’s not mean; it is not to spoil them.
“The only thing I have agreed with Tana is that they receive a 25% deposit on one apartment, but not on the whole apartment.”
