After sharing his gory story on Already Broke, rapper 6ix9ine is now getting a lot of heat for his arrogant display of wealth. There was nothing subtle about it – he really showed off his “luxury” jewelry and glitzy lifestyle.
Rapper Tekashi69, real name Daniel Hernandez, 25, took to Instagram to show off his opulent lifestyle and brag about how he could afford to “take two years off” from music.
Naturally, this does not sit well with his supporters and fans.
While holding large sums of money, 6ix9ine proclaims himself “King of New York” in the video.
He goes on to say, “Tomorrow, April 15, listen, you know I’m not talking about anything, I’m never going to dress anything. You all believe what you want to believe.
“That’s half a ticket right there. I’m really the type, I’m really the type that could take two years off, because that’s really my lifestyle,” he added.
“I don’t max out, that’s really my way of life. That’s how I really live.”
A diamond-encrusted chain with a watch dangling from it is displayed as the rapper steps closer to the camera.
A house is right here, he said, pointing to one of his watches. He just means he can buy an entire residential property with this watch. There is not just one, but five in total!
It then displays the other fourcalculating their value as one house per watch, for a total of five houses.
His wristwatch, however, can be worth up to two houses, he adds.
As 6ix9ine weaves his way through parked sports vehicles, he explains to the camera why people don’t like him.

To prove his “net worth in the trunk”, he opens the front trunk of one of his cars, dumps the cash in a mound in front of him, counts the total – $1.3 million – and nonchalantly walks away with a few Battery.
If that wasn’t gross enough, his caption was even crazier. He directly told his followers that they couldn’t afford things like him and couldn’t do what he could. True or not, very few people can do this without causing anger.
In the caption, he states, “YOU DON’T LIVE LIKE THIS I OWN EVERYTHING YOU GUYS RENT️ I TAKEN RAP OFF FOR 2 YEARS️ I COULD MAKE YOU CANNOT️ THE REAL KING OF NEW YORK️”
People don’t like him because of his wealth, but the way he flaunts it is what they don’t like about him, viewers of the video pointed out.
Some pointed to the rapper does everything it can to stay relevant. Some said he needed to be reminded that his efforts would be considered weak, and that the jewelry he rents to make these videos would one day be ripped from his chicken neck and that day it would even be applauded. Some said too many people are now acting like this, always acting like fools to prove something.
It’s not the first time he’s done this. But this one only raises eyebrows, considering recent court documents he filed in March 2022 reveal he is bankrupt, with little income to help him. If things have turned around for him, it’s too early to be high and mighty about it.
